Steve Holmes joined U.S. Employee Benefits Services Group (USEBSG) in January 2021 as the Director of Sales for the Texas Gulf Coast Region. His responsibilities include growing and serving the K-12 markets in Regions 3, 4 and 5 as well as identifying target markets, new client acquisition, developing channel partnerships, and extending the USEBSG brand.
For over 20 years, Steve has worked at benefits organizations including Aflac, Colonial Life, Humana, CHUBB, GNA Partners and Beazley. Evolving and expanding the depth and scope of his benefits knowledge through these carrier and HR outsourcing relationships has provided incredible insights into underwriting (core and ancillary benefits), mitigating liabilities (benefits and technology), employee engagement (HCM and HRIS), and Risk reduction (Workers Comp and Cyber). He has spent over half of his career leading teams that focus on helping employers and employees through superior communication, education, navigation, and advocacy.
Steve developed his passion to help people achieve their goals originally as a Leader of Marines and then during periods of his life as an employee benefits specialist recruiting, training, and developing teams. He leverages the TEAM concept with every client and values collaboration, mutual respect, as well as open and honest communication, which have helped nurture and sustain long-term relationships with clients and broker partners alike.
Steve and his wife live in League City, Texas, and volunteer as Court Appointed Special Advocates in Galveston County.
