Download (.PDF)Scott Cloud is Director of Sales and Marketing for The Retirement Plan Company, LLC (TRPC) and serves clients and their advisors through TRPC’s Dayton, OH office. He is also a Managing Director of U.S. Employee Benefits Services Group, the parent company of TRPC. Scott began his career in 2002 with Miami Valley Pension, LLC in Dayton, where he gained a breath of experience in plan design, documents, administration, and consulting. He later joined Benefits Integrity, LLC in Denver, where he developed and managed strategic relationships with investment advisors and recordkeeping platform providers, and gained additional experience in plan conversions and employee education/enrollment.
Scott joined TRPC in 2007 as a Compliance Manager in the Consulting/Administration department. In that role, he acted as relationship manager and handled all aspects of year-end compliance reporting for plans on TRPC’s daily valuation recordkeeping platform; served as lead consultant for client matters requiring research and technical guidance; and managed the plan document department. Scott joined TRPC’s Sales/Marketing team in 2012, and in his current role as Director of Sales and Marketing he provides support to TRPC’s sales team and oversees the development and execution of strategies aimed at helping TRPC’s investment advisor partners to acquire, manage, and scale retirement plan advisory business.
Scott is a graduate of Miami University (OH) where he majored in Decision Sciences and minored in Marketing, and he later earned an MBA from The Ohio State University with a concentration in Investment Management and a minor in Marketing. Scott earned the Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) professional designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA), and holds a Series 65 securities license.
