Rick Niles joined U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners in March 2019 as the state Managing Director for Texas under their U.S. Employee Benefits Services Group (USEBSG) division. His responsibilities include Employee Benefits thought leadership, directing the Texas consulting team, and is accountable for both the growth and retention of USEBSG’s clientele in the Texas markets.
For over 25 years, Rick has worked at benefits organizations including Aetna, CIGNA, United Health Group, ADP, and large employee benefits consultancies. He has spent over half of his career leading teams that focus on the transformation towards employee benefits optimization for some of the largest employers in the world. Increasing organizational financial savings, decreasing HR’s time consumed in processes of program management, and enhancing employees’ user experiences is paramount to Rick’s efforts.
Rick has a unique skillset with his extensive knowledge in many health & welfare disciplines and their integration advantages (healthcare, wellness, core ancillary, voluntary benefits, benefits administration and compliance). He is also a financial underwriter in many of these areas, which gives USEBSG another level of expertise that directly impacts our clients positively.
At the University of La Verne, Rick studied Political Science and competed on the NCAA Debate and Baseball Teams in Southern California. He lives in the DFW area with his wife and children.
