Paul Tambe joined BW Employee Benefits (BWEB) in 2003 as President and CEO in charge of operations and strategic growth. BWEB became a subsidiary of U.S. Employee Benefits Services Group (USEBSG) in April 2016.
Mr. Tambe brings over 29 years of experience in employee benefits consulting, including both fully-insured and self-insured programs. As a prior owner of Nova Healthcare Administrators, a third-party administration firm, he has extensive experience in self-funded (ASO) medical plans. He helps companies select, implement and administer employee benefit and retirement plans, and he analyzes existing employee benefit compensation packages. Paul works to improve existing plans, ensuring that they are in compliance and cost effective. He has extraordinary expertise in the employee benefits area for closely held companies, providing a specialty service to BWEB’s clients. A significant accomplishment was forming one of the first Fully Insured Multi Employer Welfare Arrangements (MEWA) in the state of Ohio.
Paul has served on the DACC Health Care Task Force along with several other major health care companies. He is recognized in the area as an expert on the Affordable Care Act and a frequent presenter on this topic.
From 1999-2003, Mr. Tambe was Senior Vice President of First Niagara Risk Management, and he was previously a Tax Senior at Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst & Young). Paul graduated cum laude from State University College in Brockport, New York and is a licensed CPA.
