Download (.PDF)Michael Robinson joined U.S. BENCOR/MidAmerica in July 2023 as a Sales Director for the New England Region. His primary responsibility is educating state and local government organizations on the benefits of establishing HRA, Special Pay, and FICA Alternative plans. Through these types of plans, Mike is helping employees of these organizations to reach their goal of retiring with dignity.
Prior to joining U.S. BENCOR/MidAmerica, Mike began his career in retirement sales in 1995 where he was a District Manager with VALIC for the states of CT and RI. Subsequent positions involved working on the State of Connecticut Retirement plan with ING/VOYA as sole record keeper, lead Consultant for Yale University Medical School with TIAA, and most recently working with municipalities with ICMA/Mission Square Retirement.
Mike is a 1987 graduate of Bryant University where he was a four-year member of the baseball team. He also earned his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations from The American College. Mike resides in Simsbury, CT, with his wife and children.
