Jim has been in the retirement plan business for close to 40 years. After graduating from the University of Connecticut, he began his career at CIGNA. He worked for several small retirement firms and in 2004 established Jim Hallinan Pension Consulting, LLC with a primary focus on the design and administration of qualified retirement plans for small business.
Jim is a Certified Pension Consultant with the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Jim and his wife have two grown children and live in West Hartford, Connecticut.
