Angie Surra is the Vice President of Compliance & Technology for NavigateHCR who provides a greater avenue of delivering support and knowledge to a larger scope of businesses. With over 20 years of experience, Angie has a list of professional designations such as Certified Insurance Counselor, Certified Insurance Service Representative, Certified in Long Term Care, Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist, Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist, Certified COBRA Administrator, Certified Cafeteria Plan Administrator.
She also works internally with the development of the company and success of technology advances. As compliance changes, Angie ensures clients and brokers are up to date by facilitating education platforms, trainings, and is a national speaker and educator.
Angie believes in the urgency of employer compliance issues and health insurance challenges business and individual clients face. Based on the needs and issues from her clients, she consults and designs the company’s proprietary portal to facilitate ease of use and accuracy.
Angie holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice focusing on insurance fraud. She is also a licensed Insurance Agent in Property & Casualty Insurance, Life, Accident, & Health Insurance in multiple states.
Angie lives in Elk County, Pennsylvania with her husband and two children. Previously serving as Chairwoman of the Board for Health Agents for America, she is still an active member of the organization supporting insurance agents across the nation.
